Quick answers to common questions about applying and renting with Mountain View Properties.
Who needs to submit an application?
Every occupant age 18 or older must submit a separate rental application.
How much is the application fee?
The application fee is $50 per adult applicant and is non-refundable, whether the application is approved, denied or withdrawn. Paying the fee does not guarantee approval.
What are the rental qualifications?
We generally require household income of at least 2.5 times the monthly rent, a preferred credit score of 630 or higher, and at least 12 months of verifiable rental history. All applications are subject to screening.
What if I have an eviction or poor credit?
Past evictions, unpaid rental balances and credit concerns may affect eligibility. Applications are reviewed according to our written screening criteria.
Are pets allowed?
Pet policies vary by property. Approved pets may require additional charges. Assistance animals are handled in accordance with applicable law.
How much is the security deposit?
Deposits vary by property and are listed with each rental. They are typically approximately one month’s rent.
When is rent due?
Rent is due on the 1st of each month. Late fees may apply after the 5th, as provided in your lease.
How do I pay rent or request maintenance?
Current residents can pay rent and submit maintenance requests through the Resident Portal.
